Naïsha Santiago

Coach Naïsha is visionary leader, projectmanager and former gymnast, with 15+ years of gymnastics coaching experience, who built Kolorido Gymnastics from the ground up, backed by Sport Policy & Sport Management expertise, KNGU & FIG qualifications, USAG judging certification, and mental sport performance coaching.

"Profe" as we call him, is an experienced artistic gymnastics coach and former gymnast with over 40 years in athlete development and high performance training, having coached male and female gymnasts to numerous national titles and international-level achievements across Colombia and Ecuador.

Ferdy Cannister

Coach Ferdy is a dedicated Coach Dad whose journey began when his daughter started gymnastics in 2017. Since completing Kolorido’s first Basic Assistant Coach Course in 2017, he has built 8 years of coaching experience and become a tireless and key member of the Kolorido team.

Roëlla Jacobs-Goilo

Coach Roëlla is a dedicated Coach Mom whose journey began in 2022, three years after her daughter started gymnastics. As the first to complete Kolorido’s Gymnastics Trainer Course, she has grown into a backbone of Kolorido and now also leads our after school program "Kolorido DreamZone".

Training rules

Entrance & exit

  • Gymnasts enter through door #9 (Gymnast Entrance), register attendance and leave via door #8 (Fan Entrance).
  • Parents enter/leave through door #8 and use the tribune during class.
  • Bottles, shoes/slippers and bags go in/on the furniture under the white board near door #8.

Attendance

  • Arrive 15 minutes early.
  • Check in on the tablet at the entrance; use the paper attendance list if the tablet is unavailable.
  • Report absence via WhatsApp +5999 520 0060.

Clothing, hair & jewelry

  • Girls: leotard; alternatives may include fitted athletic clothing as described by Kolorido. Boys: sleeveless leotard/top with shorts and/or stirrup/pommel pants.
  • Hair must be tied up; loose/open braided hair is not permitted.
  • Remove jewelry, especially hoop or dangling earrings.
  • Gymnastics is done barefoot, with grip socks, or with appropriate gymnastics/ballet shoes.

Food & water

  • Eat something light approximately 45-60 minutes before training.
  • Bring your own filled water bottle.
  • Gymnast should eat shortly after their gymnastics practice
  • Once a month, mostly the week of the last Monday of the month till Saturday that week, Kolorido provides fruit after practice.

Parents during class

  • Parents may not enter the floor during training to approach or communicate with their gymnast.
  • Kolorido prefers parents not to stay during regular lessons to reduce distraction, except Tiny Stars and Super Stars ages 3–4 where a parent/caregiver is requested.

At-home practice & fundraising

  • Learn the Kolorido phrase and safely practice coach-assigned exercises.
  • Kolorido recommends its 15–20 minute “Treinen di progreso” home training on YouTube.
  • Each gymnast contributes to at least two fundraising activities per season.
  • Kolorido Stars Talentshow Fundraising is considered one of the fundraising events. The other fundraisings for 2026-2027 are anounced in a later stage.
Competitive pathway

Technical system

Kolorido uses the USAG Development Program (Levels 1–10), USAG Xcel (Bronze–Diamond) and FIG/UPAG Age Group programming, and may use another system when a competition requires it.

A physical/technical skills test helps identify competitive potential and group placement.

Level mobility

  • 36 points are stated as the current score needed to move level, achieved at a competition with certified judges.
  • The stated goal is to raise this to 37; Kolorido started from 34 in 2025.
  • 38 points are stated for skipping a level.
  • The Head Coach may adjust level placement based on the gymnast’s physical and mental performance.
Team appearance

Uniform & equipment

Kolorido uniform

  • All gymnasts are expected to have the Kolorido uniform while stock is available.
  • Orders are paid 100% in advance; no current payment arrangements are offered for uniforms.
  • If this prevents a gymnast from having a uniform, contact the Head Coach.

Billing

Payment system

Invoices

  • Invoices are issued on the 24th and paid in advance before the 9th of each month.
  • A 5 late fee is applied after the 8th.
  • The monthly fee remains due even when a gymnast misses training; exceptional situations may be evaluated.
  • Classes cancelled by Kolorido Gymnastics are rescheduled.

Payment methods

  • No cash. Payment is by bank or SWAIP.
  • Online banking: MCB 30550000, Fundashon Kolorido, P.O. Box 4782. Include gymnast name and group.
  • SWAIP machine is available at Gymnastics Center Curaçao.
  • Finance questions: WhatsApp +5999 529 0060.
Membership

Registration & termination

Try-out & registration

  • New families first complete the try-out form.
  • When space is available, Kolorido sends a trial-class invitation by email or WhatsApp.
  • Trial classes are invitation-only.
  • After the trial, families who choose to continue complete the official registration form.
  • January and June are stated as months when new gymnasts are not accepted.
  • The document states a registration fee of Naf. 25 and Guardian Group Fatum insurance for gymnasts.

Termination

  • Membership remains billable until terminated online.
  • A full one-month notice period applies, not a day-count notice.
  • Termination is processed on the first or last day of a month.
  • Restarting after stopping requires the one-time registration fee again.
  • Stopping during vacation and re-registering within three months may result in two months of lesson fees unless a valid exception is approved.

Arrival

Location, parking & emergency

Parking

Park outside the fenced area on either side of the road or on the dirt road beside the warehouses. Do not park in front of other warehouses or roller shutters. For safety, park facing the street.

Evacuation

Evacuation plans are posted at entrance #9, by the first-aid kit and on the white board. The meeting point is the dirt field beside the warehouses toward the main gate.
